Locating the articles
The simplest way to number a contents page is to simple do
it 1 2 3, bullet points are pointless because the reader will not be able to
tell where the articles are, and not everyone can translate roman numerals. Always
make sure that a contents page is in chronological order, this way the readers
will be able to find out what they are looking for quickly and efficiently
without causing confusion, which will result in frustration and they may no
longer wish to read the magazine. Also make it clear where they can find
articles that were advertised on the front cover, that may have been the reason
that they purchased the magazine and you don’t want to disappoint your readers.
